#asktheexpert My baby is 5 months old and doctor told not to start solids till 7 months.. What is the ideal age to start solids?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello dear ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. It is not advisable to give anything to the baby other than mother milk till the age of six months. After the baby has completed six months of age. Then you can start semisolid food items and formula milk to the baby. Thanks and take care
