#AskTheExpert my baby is 5 month old. now he is suffering from cough and nasal congestion. doctr advice nasal sqline drop. can i put this drop during his sleep ?

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorabnt and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. Use saline drops before the baby feeds or goes to sleep. Use a warm washcloth or cotton swab to clean the nostrils. Only expel the air in the syringe bulb when it is not in your baby's nose.
