Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 5 and half month old . she is on breastfeeding. she won't show any interest in feeding. I have to force her to latch and within minute she will stop the feeding . she will be looking all around and playing with her foot . she won't show any signs of hunger also .even if I don't feed her after hours also she will not cry for feed . please help me with this.

A. all this is normal and a good sign. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

A. U Just try to understand the psychology of a child that once they start seeing around once they gain their vision they are just so distracted by the surrounding which is why we always say that you should try to cover the face of the child so whenever you are feeding the child so that your child does not have any distraction while taking a feed
