#asktheexpert my baby is 5 and a half months old. my wife's breasts have become heavy due to the baby's feeding and as the baby sucks the breasts the size has also increased so she feels pain sometimes in her breasts. Is it normal or should she get checked by the doctor?

A. Hello sir Yes this is normal. This is breast engorgement, the breast gets full with milk due to which pain is there. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby.
