#asktheexpert My Baby is 5.5 Yrs and could you please suggest following Good Food Habits Engaging Kids to avoid screen time

A. Hello good afternoon ! Feed 3 meals and 2 snacks include fruits and vegetables, Millets, grains,dal,dry fruits,egg,meat, soya, milk and diary products in regular diet. Twice a day milk (turmeric milk every alternate day, dry fruits mix powder,dates syrup milk.) Millet, grains based breakfast (idly, dosa,ragi porridge, multi grain malt/dosa,oats,Dalia,sooji porridge, poha, stuffed paratha). Lunch/dinner - rice/roti with dal/sabji/curd, fruits. Evening snack times - soaked nuts, fruits and vegetables salad, soups,milk shakes. Give adequate water (boiled water), soups, rice starch,dal water, citrus fruits, nuts, curd to improve immunity power. Avoid oily,junk, processed foods. Engage baby in outdoor activities (games, and baby gear, evening walk, puzzles, riddles to solve,arts, paper crafts , listening music, dancing all these helps in reducing screen time you can also accompany with baby so that baby can't get deviated.
