A. For a four-month-old baby, it is generally recommended to wait until six months before introducing any solid foods like Cerelac. Until then, exclusive breastfeeding or formula feeding provides all the necessary nutrients. Starting solids too early can increase the risk of digestive issues and food allergies. Around six months, when your baby shows signs of readiness—like holding their head up, showing interest in food, and sitting with support—you can slowly introduce easily digestible foods like homemade purees or Cerelac in small amounts. Always consult your pediatrician before starting solids.
