Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 45 days old. His birth weight is 3.25 after 38 days he gain 3.720. He is on brest feeding and only one time I give him a formula milk 30 ml dexolac.Is baby weight is normal?

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months.. there's no need to start any formula

A. Ma’am A child should gain approximately 500 g on the minimum side every month after birth your child hasn’t gain that much weight also so I am going to say it is less so consult a lactation doctor if she also advises you to go for formula feeding then you can increase the formula feeding on an every day basis
