#asktheexpert my baby is 45 days old. His birth weight is 3.25 after 38 days he gain 3.720. He is on brest feeding and only one time I give him a formula milk 30 ml dexolac.Is baby weight is normal?

give only breastmilk till completion of six months.. there's no need to start any formula

Ma’am A child should gain approximately 500 g on the minimum side every month after birth your child hasn’t gain that much weight also so I am going to say it is less so consult a lactation doctor if she also advises you to go for formula feeding then you can increase the formula feeding on an every day basis
