#AskTheExpert My baby is 4 month and she is only 5 kg 400 gram..this is normal and can I give her biscuits with milk

A. No. Generally Any liquids or semisolids or Solids are advisable only after six months. Until then exclusive breastfeeding or formula alone is good for baby (not even water) as their digestive system will be still sensitive and immature. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months. Also Biscuits will constipate the baby and will fill the tummy. Then the baby will start resisting other foods. So always restrict biscuits to travel times as instant foods. At home try giving healthy snacks to babies after six months.
