Q.
#asktheexpert my baby is 4 and a half months old. From last few weeks he is not taking enough milk during day time, sometime 60ml, 30ml and so. Only during night hours he consumes 120-150 milk in a go. Why so ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achiecved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
