#asktheexpert My baby is 3days shy to 2month. she cries alot on daily basis during evening. what could be the reason. And what is the min hour a baby of this age should sleep totally during day and night.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica drops.
other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and mogre which needs to be ruled out and managed accordinglby .

Do swaddling cuddling swinging to soothe your baby
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after every feeding
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Wash hands often before touching your baby
