#asktheexpert my baby is 3 months old and she has fever from yesterday should I wait a little or consult a doctor asap tia

A. hi your baby is 3 months old now if fever is not resolving after giving fever medicine there is chance baby is having infection which might require antibiotics treatment .

A. Hi dear good afternoon Keep baby hydrated. Feed every few hours that is the best way to cure soon. Also add tulsi leaves to warm coconut oil and apply to baby's chest sole and back. Keep baby warm. Home remedies are good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallel. Give healthy foods and mild at the same time. You can give oats, rice cereal, warm rasam, soups, can add little pepper and turmeric with warm milk. Also have medicines as prescribed bt your doctor for sppedy recovery
