A. Hello dear parent
You can simply clap and see if the baby is following the sound or not.
You can also get BERA test done to see how the hearing is

A. Hi Siri when a child is born and before discharging the normally learn all these test where in if they are not sure that the child has some problem they always tell you mostly hearing test is done before the child is discharged also I would like to tell you if you’re not very sure about it as of now then wait for another 3 to 4 months you will definitely come to know whether your child is listening and responding well and you can call your child completely by name all the time or you can make a sound of whistles so you’ll be sure that your child is actually looking at the site from where the sound is coming
