Q.

#Asktheexpert My baby is 23 months and 27 days old and she is still on breast feed. But for the past few days she needs it every hour like a small baby. Also she doesn't eat properly, and i need to feed her continuously at night. I want to stop it slowly. How can I reduce her feeding both day and night?

A. Gradual weaning Make your breasts less available for nursing. Stop wearing nursing clothing such as nursing bras and tops with nursing slits. ...Shorten each breastfeeding session before stopping it completely. ...Postpone breastfeeding sessions. ...Substitute food, drinks, or comfort for breastfeeding. ...Distract your toddler.
