Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 2 year + 6 months old. he is suffering of constipation from the beginning... he stool is fine but at the start it very dry.. he has no stomach pain... when we stop medicine he gets again constipation...

A. Along side the advice from your doctor, You can include fiber rich fruits and vegetables in the child's regular diet. Give plenty of water. You can give a ripe banana and raisins daily. An unripe or under ripe banana can worsen the constipation. So choose the banana carefully. Also avoid bakery products like biscuits, cookies, bread, cake etc.,
