Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes ejgvven by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, developmental stuttering may occur when a toddler's desire to speak exceeds her speech and language abilities. When this happens, toddlers may begin to stutter until their spoken language skills have caught up.
