#asktheexpert My baby is 2 months old on mixed feeding. He still has green stools. Is this normal?

A. hi usually it is normal. in breastfed babies,it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk so feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well make changes in your diet as it might be a reaction to the food which you ate. and in formulafed baby,it is caused by iron supplements of formula so don't worry but if your child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then please visit your pediatrician.
