#AskTheExpert My baby is 2 months old. from last 20 days he has cough. I have shown 3 doctors but cough is not going though it has minimize. Previously is was in chest now it is inside throat n nose. But he do not have running nose. I have also given nebulizer twice (as suggested by pediatrician) but the cough is not going completely. Please suggest

A. can nebulizer be given with filter water for steam instead of the medicine. like 2ml filter water

A. it is the viral takes time .Some running nose or phlem is due to the common cold and flu due to season change . Steam along with other home remedy like maintain baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .
