Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 2 months and 9 days old.can we give neem teether to him, as he is trying to suck his fingers a lot.

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple / teether/ soother if cleaned properly. the problem arises when it falls down and goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in thez oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion pacifiers may increase the risk of ear infections by addingz germs to your baby's mouth. prolonged use of pacifiers may also lead to dental deformities.

A. no please.. teethers are not recommended for the baby.. you can start with Calcarae phosphorus a homoeopathic medicine for teething.. Calcarae phosphorus helps in easing teething effects as teething fever loose motion green stool itching gums drooling
