#AskTheExpert my baby is 2 month old and 11 days old, her birthright was 2.3 and height was 43 cm, she is around 4 kg and height is 56 cm now. My in laws are insisting on starting on cow milk/ formula milk, per them mother's milk is not enough for the baby. based on her growth, Could you please suggest should we start on formula milk or not for baby. Baby is fine, bno health issue till date.

A. Giving your baby formula in addition to breastfeeding is called supplementing. It's completely fine and perfectly safe to do. Many families choose this type of combination feeding method, whether out of necessity (e.g. low breast milk supply), convenience, or simply personal choice.
