#AskTheExpert My baby is 1yr 3mnths old.He is having more phlem coming out from nose.He is having cough also.When we r in. india as per doctor's prescription, We gave sinarest and mucolite for cold and cough.Now they are not working.pls suggest what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to reliecdve the symptoms.
