Hey mommy few things could help with  cold and cough please make sure you reach out to pediatrician for medication as you baby is too young.

1. ajwan shekh in a potlu give instant relief 
2. garlic pods to be broken and smelt
3. Indirect steam using plain water 
4. also you can try nasoclear to clear blockage 
5. massage chest and back with old mustard oil or any old ghee. 
6 boil ajwan seeds, turmeric powder, gdsinger pepper and tulsi leaves in 1 cup water , boil 5 mins, cool add ho.ney and offer to the baby 2-3 tsp every few hours . . 
You can also ald onion juice topically - his chest and back at night. It wil loosen the cough and come out through thick cold or vomit.

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day. 
This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to0 climate changes and temperature variations .
If fever is present give paracetamol.
