#AskTheExpert my baby is 16 months old...can I give him hhlevom kid and sandu whooping cough syrup at the same time

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a properfd evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fevexr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

It has been prescribed by the doctor then you can definitely go ahead with that because at this is whatever medicine you give to the child has to be prescribed by a doctor only and if it has been like this then you can go ahead with it
