Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 16 days old , she latches for some mins and then removes her mouth , i have to latch her continuously and after some trials she latches around 30 mins on both my breasts , is she satisfied as I feel my milk production is low . Also I am latching her 6-8 times and 3-4 times formula feed. Is this okay ??

A. Yeah seems alright but I think it would be good for you to consult a lactation specialist because if your child is lacking for this time the child should be full for at least 2 to 3 hours your child is constantly asking for a feed or not full I think it’s one time you should consult a lactation specialist
