#AskTheExpert my baby is 14 months old. she is suffering from lose motion from last 2 days. should give her some medicine?

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions ashjre associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

If the motions are loose and watery then u can give econorm sachet two times a day to get relief .
also give ors in case motions are frequent and watery.
Give easily digestible food like khichdi rice curd, banana, apple, sooji, coconut water etc
