Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 14 months old. Do I have to give him vitamin D drops? I have been giving 0.5 ml since he was 1 month old. Now I have been asked to stop. Should I stop?

A. Dr Sameer, what kind of reply is this? Your are asking to consult a doctor? What else is being done here? Are you not a pediatrician?? How silly!!

A. you should always consult doctor for proper medicine because it is only after clinical examination that proper treathzment would be suggested and weight is important to decide dosage do not selfmedicate

A. hello mum yeah this vitamin d supplements are needed only one year of age if your pediatrician respect for your baby on some matter you please continue using otherwise you can stop it and as baby gets the exposure to the sun that will be enough for the growth of your baby
