Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 13 week old.She got 10th week's vaccine yesterday (02-06-2021) and taking less milk than usual. She is formula fed. She used to take 105 ml per feed, but since after vaccination she is taking 60 to 90 ml per feed. Is this normal?

A. doctor breast milk isn't adequate for her and she is taking formula as per advice from paediatrician only since there is low breast milk supply

A. formula is not advised at LL breast milk is the complete nutrition to baby till first six months of age also it contains natural antibodies for baby immunity against infections and best for digestion . Formula milk should not be given at all unless advised by pediatrician . No need to give gripe water or ghutti below 6 months of age
