#asktheexpert my baby is 13 months old and she is 8 kgs... please share food from which weight should be increased.

A. Hello good afternoon !! As baby is one year old you can introduce family foods with less oil,spices in semi solid semi mashed form,finger foods but avoid nuts, medium,big size pieces ,lumps which might cause choking problem. Foods like dals,legumes,kichdi,parantha,banana,mango potato,nuts powder,cerelac,sattu,ghee,cheese,butter, curd,paneer,egg in regular diet helps in weight gain.
