Q.
#AskTheExpert my baby is 13 month old.he fell from bed this morning , swelling is there on head,what needs to apply or suggested medicine.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like
severe headache or
excessive crying or
excessive vomiting or
abnormal movements or
lethargy or
seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination.
if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watcch policy
for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head.
also apply ice locally.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Right now I would suggest you to do cold compress on that area by keeping ice or maybe cold pack after that you can app Thermophob all that area but do get it checked with your doctor please do not skip with that
