#AskTheExpert my baby is 1 month old and he is having some miner cough . it is normal or I give some medicine

A. saline drops is salt water which goes through the nasal cavity into the oral cavity and also the throat sore the salt water helps in decreasing the congestion and soreness which is present in the throat and that will help in decreasing the coughing

A. only give nasal saline drops to the child because it is safe kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and try to prevent temperature variations on the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
