Q.
#asktheexpert My baby is 1 month old. After breastfeed he either doesn't fall asleep or gets up within 30 to 45 mins. So I started giving formula (Similac). So alternate my I breastfeed once then formula once. But after drinking formula he passes gas a lot and cries and gets up from sleep. Which formula should I use and what should I do that he gets sound sleep.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. I would advice to feed breast milk as much as possible, take healthy diet n tab lactare cap to increase breast milk. for further advice,, talk to ur paediatrician.

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello infant formula can cause gassy in baby and you can try changing the infant formula milk brand and give any infant formula milk stage 1 which is fine and also give infant formula milk only if the bm is not sufficient and you can express your milk using Babyhug breastpump and check if the bm is sufficient ir not
