Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider it as fever onlyd if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm headd palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Without taking the temperature how can we be sure whether there is fever or not so take a temperature with a thermometer if it is about 99°F or more than it is fever otherwise it would be normal body temperature
