#AskTheExpert my baby have only 2 teeth stiil. is this normal to get teething very late or should I consult doctor

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. it is normal. the first tooth can erupt as late at 18 months of age.
but the child's first dental visit should be done by the child's first birthday and after that once every 6 months or as advised by the dentist

babies get full set of primary teeth at the age of 2 or 3 years
so as such no need to worry
but as delay can be caused by calcium deficiency,I advise you to give calcium rich food like Ragi , nuts, dairy products etc more
give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day which is best for Vitamin D formation.
avoid giving RO water
