A. If your baby has only a mild cough and slight congestion but no fever, vomiting, or signs of serious illness, it is generally safe to proceed with vaccination. Mild cold symptoms do not usually interfere with the immune response to vaccines. However, if your baby seems unusually irritable, weak, has a fever, or breathing issues, it’s best to consult your pediatrician before getting the vaccine to ensure your baby is fit for it.
