#asktheexpert My baby got vaccinated for 3rd month dose. She has got swelling on the area near injection was given. I have tried applying ice cubes 2 3 times daily for 3 days but it's not working. Can we apply thrombophob ointment to 3 months old baby girl?

A. do not apply any ointment without consulting your pediatrician itself once. skin is very delicate at this stage. it may take a few days for the swelling to reduce. just keep applying ice pack a few times a day. in case of any pain consult your pediatrician itself once .
