A. If baby has symptoms of cough and cold it may last for few days or couple of weeks depending on the severity of infection which may be viral usually.at times may be allergic too. If there is fever above 99 Fahrenheit you need to give paracetamol 3 times a day to the child. In case of nasal congestion in cold you can give steam which is the best remedy as well as you can use nasomist saline drops many times in a day one drop in each nostril. In case of cough, the syrup is advised according to the type of cough (dry or productive)which needs to be examined before prescribing the medicine. If there are aggravated symptoms due to cough and cold ,any breathing difficulty the baby has dehydration awwnd not taking feed properly a physical examination is idmportant for which you should contact your treating pediatrician.

A. Then it could just be blocked nose whenever you are feeding the child keep your child’s head in the elevated position because that is what is going to keep the child’s head in a proper manner and it would be easier for your child to take whatever feeding you are offering to the childWrite Your Answer Here
