Q.

#asktheexpert My baby girl is 9 months now, she was born with 2.5kg weight and presently is 7.8kg. She is healthy and fine but her teething has not begun. Is it normal? Should I consult a doctor. in case of further delay, when should I consult pediatrics?

A. hi yes totally fine. kids can get their first milk teeth anytime from 6 months upto the age of 18 months. keep checking for the signs of teething and wait for some time

A. There is no delay till the time of 17 months if it doesn’t happen by that time then you can calculate it as a delay and can consult a dentist but right now with what you’re child is fine weight gain could definitely be better than what it is right now so consult the doctor for a weight gain issue that you are facing with your child
