#asktheexpert my baby girl is 7 month old but refuses to every solid food if i put something in her mouth he did not swallow for some time

A. it is very common that during the initial one or two years the child might take liquid or semi solid diet. but you can always gradually shift to semi solid to solid diet with increasing consistency and you have to progress by 20% to 30% every few xweeks. it is a learning process of swallowing as well as she is going by the child so do not worry and continue your efforts. the child will learn the chewing process gradually because the child is always copying people around them x

A. Keep the consistency liquid as of now the child is not taking semisolid so that your child has to swallow what you are giving other than that add necessary solvent spices into the food which is what is going to make it flavour some and hold them for the child to consume
