#AskTheExpert My baby girl born on June 5, 2022. I want to know the milk quantity for her. At starting days we are giving 40 ml. Now we are giving 60 ml after every 2 hrs. So is it fine Or we need to change?

A. the quantity of milk depends on the desire of your child. Also which milk you are giving your child,that matters. but 60-70 ml is sufficient at 2 month of age. if you are giving formula milk, atleast give it after 3 hours. and if breastfeeding, then 2 hours.(you can't measure the quantity if breastfeeding, it's on your child how much he wants)

A. Amounts - How Much Per Feeding: Newborn: 2-3 ounces (60-90 mL) per feeding. 1 month old: 4 ounces (120 mL) per feeding. 2 months old: 5 ounces (150 mL) per feeding. 4 months old: 6 ounces (180 mL) per feeding.
