#AskTheExpert my baby girl 1.7yr old having fever from 2 days. when I am giving paracip tonic the temperature coming down and after some time again increasing slowly and I have given meftol p yesterday night do we need to use antibiotics she is active and eating normally

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again requiredgcc and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
