#asktheexpert My baby feels a worming sensation even after deworming with prescribed syrup. how to handle?

A. hi doctor, But it's only been 2 months since my baby was given with Bandy medicine.

A. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of alhibendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after takinhg guidance by your doctor

A. BANDY PLUS SUSPENSION is used to treat parasite infections which can destroy disease-causing worms and effectively inhibit the spread of illness. Albendazole prevents the worm from absorbing glucose, resulting in energy loss. Ivermectin works by paralysing the worms and causing them to die.
