#asktheexpert my baby doing green thick poop always..he take formula milk n mother milk both..is that normal plz tell me

A. hello doc, I am doing breastfeeding and formula feeding to my 1 month old baby from the day 1 since my lactation is level is low.everybody advising me to stop formula feeding to the baby. if I stop, the baby is getting hungry and keep crying. May I know the disadvantages of formula feeding and why it is not advisable?

A. no. don't give formula at all breast milk should be given to baby till first 6 months of age. Mother milk is best as it contains natural antibodies and best for baby growth. Never give formula milk unless instructed by pediatrician . Nothing should be given no gripe water no ghutti
