#AskTheExpert My baby didn't sleep whole night yesterday and was passing gas throughout the night. He is been fed 30-45ml Nan Pro 1 formula from past 3 days as his mother milk production is not enough. His stool is smelling and had vomiting in the morning. We gave him colicaid in the night around 8pm and in the morning same time. What could be the issue and solution for this situation.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. its ok..just butp well. & Don't worry about green stools because it is very commonly seen if your baby is having mild cold and cough or drinks formula milk.
Moreover the consistency and the frequency of stool matters more than the colour.
To combat discomfort caused by gases in the babies you need to burp them properly post every feeding session, give few minutes of tummy time regularly to release out the gases. You can also give gastica drops or Himalaya bonnisan drops
