#AskTheExpert My baby boy is 7 months old and is pooping once in 5 days even after i started solids. I was exclusively breastfeeding for him for 6months. He also just eats very little mashed lentil rice for lunch. How can i help him poop freely without any struggle.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. this is a normal change it s absolutely normal for a baby to not pass motion daily . Baby diet till one year is basically milk so even if baby does not pass stool for upto 1 week it s considered a normal thing
