#AskTheExpert My baby boy is 50 days old. He is drinking milk for every 3-4 hour interval. Is it fine? Also what should be his weight gain per week?

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Feed the baby on demand. Look for hunger cues from your baby and act accordingly. Burp the baby during and after each feed. Always feed the baby in an upright position. The average weight gain of babies is 25 grams per day for the next 3 months of their life. The average gain of a newborn baby is 175 to 200 grams per week, that is approx 700-800 grams per month.
