#AskTheExpert My baby boy is 3months old doctor.. Can I make him drink cow milk??? If yes in what ratio I need to feed him?

A. Exclusive breastfeeding is advisable till the time the baby completes 6 months of age. Cow's milk should not be introduced before the baby turns one year old. Cow's milk is too heavy for a baby's stomach, if introduced at this age. Cow's milk has less iron content when compared to breast milk or iron fortified formula milk and iron is very much essential for a baby's growth at this age.
