#AskTheExpert My baby boy is 36 days old. He stretches body lot. ln 1 minute he stretches for 4-5 times. Due to this his sleep is disturbed. he can sleep only if wrapped. why is this so? n is it normal?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes it's nromal as it's due to. Gas issue is quite common in newborn babies. Give only mother milk to baby avoid use of bottle feeding burp baby after every feed for 20 minutes my keeping baby on shoulder. You can do cycling motion of the legs and also massage tummy gently . Can give gastica drops 1ml to baby for gas. Colic pain is maximum at night time and and makes the baby cry whole night give drops meftal spas or colicaid 0.5 ml at evening or night time .
