Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby boy is 3 month old.he is not taking mother feed due to nipple problem. firstly i used to give him formula milk aptamil 1 and after 2.5 months change to lectogen 1..after consuming lectogen 1 his stool changes color dark green and sometimes grey, firstly it was yellowish. i m very worried about it. is there really anything to worry about? attaching his stool picture.

A. Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situationDon't worry about green stools because it is very commonly seen if your baby is having mild cold and cough or drinks formula milk. Moreover the consistency and the frequency of stool matters more than the colour.

A. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop., don't worry if she is passing urine frequently, taking feed properly and active.No medication will help & is not needed also..
