Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby boy is 3.5 months, he puts his fingers into mouth and keeps on sucking...Do I need to refrain him from putting his hand into mouth?Will this be a bad habit going forward?

A. this is commonly considered as normal as per the age ,for this ,you should not worry it is acceptable for now and this may not reqvtuire any medicine or treatment .in order to clear further doubts in this regard you can consult your doctor to get proper guidance in details along with a thorough discussion .

A. hi yes it alright by own so nothing to worry it is natural self soothing mechanism but try to distract your child by giving toys as it can lead to Infection please don't force your child
