#AskTheExpert my baby boy is 2months old. brachial plexus to his left hand from birth. Doctors said that after 3 months bring him. numbness, no movement till now. but yesterday i observed that he turned right side then his left hand was up . is it recovery??

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Many injuries to the brachial plexus will recover spontaneously without surgery over a period of weeks to months, especially if they are mild. Nerve injuries that heal on their own tend to have better functional outcomes.
