#asktheexpert my baby boy is 1month 8 days now..my baby hands and legs shiver when he is in disturbed sleep and awakes from sleep ..why he does it

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency.x kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. z
